Community Pier Application

Complete and submit this request prior to docking any type of watercraft or installing a boat lift or JetSki float/ramp in a Community Pier Slip.

Important Community Pier Rule Reminders:

Each relocation of a Watercraft, Lift, or to any aspect of a Boat/Lift combination to a different Pier or Slip requires a new pre-approval. Prior approval at one location does not guarantee approval at a different Slip.
Jet Ski floats/ramps must be for docking a single Jet Ski (no double JetSki ramps/floats are allowed).
Approved Boat Lift Types: Only HydroHoist or EconoLift models that meet the minimum and maximum lift capacity are permitted for installations new to a Slip. Note: front-mounted Boat Lifts are prohibited; Single tank Boat Lifts are prohibited.
Maximum Boat Length: 26 feet, unless the POA pre-approves a modest exception in writing.
Maximum Boat Weight: 7,650 pounds (see below calculations).
Minimum & Maximum Boat Lift Capacity: 4,400 pounds minimum; 8,800 pounds maximum (per manufacturer’s published values). The net lift capacity must be at least 1,000 pounds (Boat Lift Capacity less Total Boat Weight).

CERTIFICATIONS FOR ALL APPLICATIONS: The POA will not review incomplete applications, and reserves the right to request additional information regarding this application. The Slipholder is solely responsible for: - Ensuring that any Renter noted in this application is a resident of The Point. - Maintaining insurance on the watercraft (or ensuring that the Slipholder's Renter or Permitted Other maintains such insurance). - Ensuring that any PWC ramp/float or lift is installed in the Slip consistent with (i) the manufacturer’s instructions, and (ii) Pier Association Board’s preferences regarding location within the Slip where the ramp/float or lift may be installed and ensuring that any boat lift is installed. -Ensuring that any boat lift is installed, maintained and repaired only by a POA-Approved Lift Contractor. - Keeping the Slip in a safe, clean and attractive condition at all times. - All costs related to any lift (e.g. installation, repairs/maintenance, removal, steps taken to correct twisting to the Slip's fingers or stress on other parts of the Pier) are at the Slipholder's cost and expense. - All damage to a person, property, Slip or adjacent Slips and/or the Pier if a boat lift is installed in the Slip is at the Slipholder’s sole risk and expense. - The Slipholder is responsible for the actions and omissions of the Slipholder’s family, guests, invitees, and any Renter or Permitted Others. The Slipholder will be subject to all penalties for any failure of any of the same to abide by the POA's Community Pier Rule (e.g., towing, fines).
